Godwin Heights Early Childhood Center (GHECC) provides preschool through three different organizations.  The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded preschool program for four-year-old children.  Godwin Heights Public Schools and Kent Intermediate School District offer early childhood special education (ECSE) for students with special needs.  Head Start for Kent County provides preschool for three and four-year-old children.
